Oh la la, beginning with the most feminine beauty of all desserts. This was brought to me by a very charming French waiter at the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild on Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. If coffee served in pink monogrammed porcelain wasn't enough...

...out came the pistacchio and raspberry macarons.

This one came from a Chicago Patisserie on New Year's Eve.

Then there was this florescent bunch at an open air market in Nice, France.

My most gluttonous moment came from a "dessert buffet" at my hotel's restaurant in Monaco. Why try one when you can try five?

The first mac I had was from Thomas Keller's Bouchon some years ago. What an introduction! Twice the size of a regular macaron.
We end with the "macaron tower" - a gravitational feat.
